Green Thumbs Gardening Camps at the Edible Academy for Children Currently in Grades K-5

Dig in to the summer season! Using the Edible Academy’s campus, including gardens open air pavilions, amphitheater, and classrooms, as well as the NYBG grounds, campers will investigate plant growth and learn all about vegetables. Children will engage in gardening, art and craft projects, exploration of the garden, and investigate sustainability.

Session 1: July 5–23
Session 2: August 2–20

Safety is our priority: All participants must wear masks. Class size has been reduced to allow for adequate social distancing. Program will run mostly outdoors, but the need for classroom space is necessary in the event of unsafe weather, such as thunderstorms or extreme heat.
